Gnome for Halloween

I am so much fun making this card.  It features the Gnomes for the Holiday Stamp Set Bundle but with a twist.  I used it as a Halloween card. The background is the Bokeh Background Technique.  I used the colors Citrus Cooler, Lavender Fusion, Electric Lime and Whip Cream for the background.  I used the Citrus Cooler and Electric Lime Silks on the background for texture. The images were colored… Read More »

Eyes on You

As you may remember, another coach (Barbara Miller) and I do a challenge once a month where we use the same stamp set (sometimes it includes same colors and/or accessories) to see what we come up with.  This is Barbara’s September challenge.  Click here to go to her blog for all the details on how she made these cute projects. In comparison to this month’s challenge, I’m almost embarrassed to… Read More »

Skeletons Dance – Saturday Night Fever

Ever since I saw this cute, adorable skeleton image in the Skeletons Dance Stamp Set Bundle, it reminded me of Saturday Night Fever! Do you see any resemblance? I stamped the skeleton image with Black Licorice and when dried, put a coating of Sparkle Silk all over it to make it shine.  I also flicked the Sparkle Silk over the background. The background is the Spooky Moon Embossing Folder.  After… Read More »

Today’s card features the Winter Build a Scene Stamp Set Bundle.    The tree is from the retired Fresh Forest Stamp Set.  I stamped the image with Fresh Forest Ink onto Butter Cream Card stock.  I added (non FSJ) snow marker which puffs up when you use the heat gun on it. I took the small tree image from the Winter Build a Scene Stamp Set and stamped it with… Read More »

No Prob Llama

From Etsy:  Trend Alert!  Llamas are the new unicorn.  Furry and seriously cute, it’s no wonder that furry animal is leading the pack. This reminded me of the No-Prob-Llama Stamp Set Bundle I currently owned.  I haven’t used it in a while and thought I would make a llama that somewhat resembled the llama in the above picture. I used the flowers from above the cow’s head from the Life… Read More »

Autumn Days

To create the background, I sponged all over with Citrus Cooler and Candy Apple Inks using our sponges. Did the same thing and same colors for the leaves.  After sponging,  I  stamped the leaves using the Autumn Days Stamp Set.   The moon/sun was created using the large dowel and Citrus Cooler… Read More »

Autumn Days

Today’s card features the Autumn Days Bundle.  Making this card has me yearning for fall, cool nights, pumpkin pie, and sweaters! The background is composed of words in different languages for thanks.  I just typed them into word and printed out on our Oatmeal Cookie Card stock. The leaves and greeting (from Harvest Wreath Bundle) were stamped first with Citrus Cooler Ink and then with Candy Apple Ink using the… Read More »
