Friends 24/7

Today's card is a black and white one.  One of the goodies that recently came in was the Night and Day Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  It is very elegant and gorgeous!  This paper will become available on 1 September 2009.  I'll be back tomorrow with something bright and cheery! Thanks for visiting. To order any of these products, e-mail me or to shop 24/7, click here. SUPPLIES:… Read More »

With Sympathy

Today's card came about because of two things:  (1) needed to come up with cards for this month's stamp camp which will consist of sympathy cards.  We all need them but are not usually in a mood to make them when we really need them! and (2) I decided to join in on the late night stampers challenge #31 which is to  make a monochromatic card.   When I think… Read More »

Always Embrace Life

Hey what a neat saying from the titles of two stamp sets.  I usually put the title of the stamp set as the title of the post and I like this!  It's a philosophy we should all live by. I just can't stay away from the new in-colors.  They are beautiful, bold and bright and I love them anyway (LOL)!.  This card was inspired by one I saw several months… Read More »

Royal Blog Tour – Featured Set – Peace Within

I am very excited to feature the stamp set Peace Within from the 2009-2010 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog.  This set will definitely be one of your favorites because it can lend itself to any occasion.  I've purposely left off any type of sentiment so that I can tailor to fit as I need it. This card uses the new In-colors Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo.  The Designer Series… Read More »

A Kind Word

I cannot believe I am making this card for my granddaughter, Sydney, so far in advance.  Her birthday isn't until  13 September.  I'm usually rushing around making a card and trying to get it in the mail before her birthday!  I love these two little girls from a Kind Word and they are perfect for my 10 year old granddaughter. I decide to use Parisian Breeze DSP which retired last month… Read More »

Friends 24-7

This stamp set is one of my favorites because you know I love floral stamp sets!  The designer series paper is Raspberry Tart which retired last month (boohoo).  I decided to use watercolor paper with this card.  I stamped the image with Black Stazon, then colored in the flowers with Regal Rose and Rose Red Stampin' Write Markers.  The leaves were colored in using a blender pen and Kiwi Kiss… Read More »

Lovely Flowers

Today's card was made using the sketch (SSC 106) from Stamping 411.  I used the stamp set from the Lovely Flowers Bundle, Level 3 Hostess Stamp Set. I used a blender pen and the Mambo Mellon Classic Ink Pad because I wanted a lighter touch on the flowers and the markers was too dark. I stamped the flower images on Whisper White card stock with Black Stazon.  I then colored… Read More »

Lovely Flowers

This is a very appropriate name for this Hostess Level 3 Lovely Flowers Bundle.  The designer series paper in the bundle is absolutely gorgeous! I used Splitcoast Stamper's Wednesday's Sketch SC233 for the layout.  It is so easy to make a card when I used a completed sketch from the vast resources out there on the internet. I used the designer series paper as the main focus on this card. … Read More »
