Arte Oriental

Today's card is called Arte Oriental.  The English name of the stamp set is Asian Artistry but when I ordered it from Stampin' Up! during the preview I inadvertently order the Spanish version.  And since I had used the images several times before I noticed my mistake, I could not return it.

The photograph of the card is a little different than my usual.  I usually try and take the picture at an angle but because the front is a little shorter than the back, I could stand the card alone.  So I thought I'd take an extra picture to show you the lower bottom border.

I never thought that Orange and Turquoise would go together but it works!  It's a beautiful color combination taken from the Designer Series Paper Kaleidoscope.  What do you think?  Do you like the colors?

Stay tuned for a contest in a couple of days.  This time there will be more than one winner.

Thanks for visiting!

Good Morning Stampers: I made a clean and simple card for the Operation Write Home Spring Break Blog and was in the mood for another CAS one.  It uses the same colors and card stock. The flower is made using the Faux Suede Technique.  I first punched out the flower using the 5-Petal Flower punch, then tightly crumpled…
