Creative Elements Part 2

Hi Stampin' Friends I received my Holiday mini today and all I can saw is WOW!!!!! – stay tuned. Here's the matching card to yesterday's bird house using the Creative Elements Stamp Set.   The ladies at Linda's private class on Thursday will be making these two items. The technique for this card is called reverse masking and I got the idea from Patty Bennett's blog.  The butterfly is the new… Read More »

Creative Elements

Hi Stampin' Friends Hope you had a wonderful weekend – I know that I did.  The weather was just gorgeous and it was so nice to be outside!  Because we are retired, we are able to enjoy our first cup of coffee on our deck.  I love, love the view – it's so quiet and peaceful.  And here's DD - she's going to be 1 year old on 23 June 2012. … Read More »

Everything Eleanor

Hi Stampin' Friends Today's post is a quick one because I'm getting ready for tomorrow's New Catalog Party.  I did want to show you one of the cards the attendees will be making. Can you see the embossing on the bottom of the card?  It's a new embossing folders called Delicate Designs and it's gorgeous!l  The stamp set is called Everything Eleanor and it's (I think) one of the most… Read More »

Happy Anniversary Stephanie and David

Hi Stampin' Friends! Another beautiful day in the neighborhood!  Love, love this weather.  Hope you are having nice weather where you live. I made this card for my daughter and son-in-law.  Yes, his name is David (same as my husband).  They even have the same initials (DB)! This is more my style than Stephanie's style.  She likes clean and simple, I like shabby chic.  But I think she will like this… Read More »

Adios Simply Soft and Beau Chateau

Hi Stampin' Friends It's another beautiful weekend in our part of the woods.  I love it!  Though I did hear from one of my downline (Hi Valerie!) that she received some snowflakes today so it's not spring everywhere and certainly not in the north part of the US. I'm using the two step Simply Soft Stamp Set one last time before it retires on Thursday, 31 May 2012.  I'm also using… Read More »

Sneak Peek – Oval Accents

Hi Stampin' Friends Today's card showcases one of the new dies in the 2012/2013 Catalog called Bigz Clear Oval Accent  Die.   It coordinates with the new Forever with You Stamp Set (page 132 of the new catalog). Like the framelits dies, it's clear so you can see where you are placing the die on the card stock.  For the background, I used the Everyday Enchante DSP from the Sale-a-bration Catalog with Poppy… Read More »

Petite Purse Trio

Hi Stampin' Friends I made 3 purses from the Petite Purse Bigz Die in less than one hour.  I was feeling bad because the 1st one took me so long to make and I wanted to show you how really easy and quick it is to make these adorable purses. I decide to use the retiring designer series paper and card stock. In this case, the Berry Blossoms Designer Series… Read More »

Summer Afternoon – Petite Purse

Hi Stampin' Friends It's a beautiful weekend in Northwest Arkansas.  I hope you are having pleasant weather. It's been such a nice spring this year. Well, I finally finished the petite purse – not that it was that hard to make but I had to redo it a couple of times because I kept making dumb mistakes.  The ladies will be making the purse at Jane's private class on Monday… Read More »

Sneak Peek – Summer Afternoon

Hi Stampin' Friends I was a bad girl and gone for most of the day so I didn't get a chance to finish up the petite purse 3D project.  I do have a card to show you that the ladies will be making at the Big Shot Class on Friday, 25 May 2012.  I again used the Comfort Cafe DSP (love, love it!!!) and the Hostess Stamp Set called Summer… Read More »

Sneak Peek – Layered Labels and Comfort Cafe DSP

Hi Stampin' Friends I am so excited to be able to show you some gorgeous new designer series paper called Comfort Cafe.  It is absolutely beautiful and reminds me of my grandmother! I am also working on 3D project (Petite Purse Bigz L Die) that goes with the card, but I didn't finish it in time for today's post.  I'll have it ready for tomorrow's post. The sentiment is layered… Read More »
