Handmade Happiness

Today’s card features the Handmade Happiness Stamp Set. It was fun to make this shabby chic vintage card!  I used several embellishments including buttons, thread, ribbon and lace. I cased this card from one I saw on Pinterest (thank goodness for Pinterest!).  I just changed it up a little. Goodbye Gone Surfing!

Really, the title should be Surfing USA!  That song runs through my head every time I use this stamp set to make a card.    And, today was no different! I used the Confectionary Days Pan Pastels to color in the background.  I used the blue in the set and used the Gold PanPastel (not part of the set) for the sand since I didn’t have a brown or beige… Read More »

Happy Adventure

When I first saw this stamp set, it reminded me of my husband and I when we used to go and visit all the garden centers every April looking for the perfect pot of geraniums!  We would buy several and put two in the front on each side of the garage and several on the back deck.  And yes, we had a red pickup! This year we still haven’t done… Read More »

Compass Rose

Today’s card features the Compass Rose ATS Stamp Set from the Celebrating Life’s Memories Mini Catalog. I used the Happy Adventure Stamp Set for the greeting. There are some cute accessories in the Celebrating Life’s Memories Mini Catalog called Vagabond Chips consisting of 45 pieces, with the following chipboard accents (suitcase, hot air balloon, globe, airplane, postage stamp, arrows, camera)  They are natural so you can color them in any… Read More »

Happy Birthday Cissy!

Today’s my granddaughter’s senior Prom and tomorrow is her birthday so I thought I’d make her a card that celebrated both very important occasions. I used a non FSJ stamp for Cissy’s card but everything else is Fun Stamper Journey products.  The print on her dress is from the retiring (and no longer available) Spring Filled Prints. I had so much fun making this card – I love to fussy… Read More »

Goodbye Too Cute!

This set is just too cute to go away but it’s retiring on 30 June 2018.  The stamp set is called Too Cute.  I felt like I was cutting paper dolls when I made this card! The background is from the Project Me Prints which is also retiring on 30 June 2018.  The largest rose (Watermelon Fusion) is called Love Buds.   The smaller roses are made  from Cool Pool… Read More »

Hearts

Today’s card was made in response to our team weekly sketch challenge. I used the Flannel Life Background Stamp for the hearts.  They were die cut using the Hearts Felt Die Set. I used the Foam Squares to pop the hearts up and then splattered Dark Roast Silk over the card.  The diamonds were colored in using a Sharpie. Goodbye Let’s Ride

Today’s card features the Let’s Ride ATS Stamp.  I made it in answer to a challenge by our team.  We were to use the colors Summer Days, Huckleberry Fusion, Pool Play and Beach Ball. Using the smallest circle, I die cut the circle using post it note.  I then put the negative image (post it note) on the upper left side and sponged in with Summer Days Ink.  I then… Read More »

Goodbye Pocket Pup

Did you know that one of the cutest stamp sets FSJ has to offer is retiring?  It is and I’m so sad because I think it’s adorable! Since I had the Spring Filled Prints out on my table, I decided to add the print to the pocket.  The background is our new Lots of Dots Die from the Celebrating Life’s Memories Mini Catalog. To create the background I adhered 3… Read More »

Summer Rose

Today’s card features the Summer Rose Stamp Set.  I included a small strip of our gorgeous retired Spring Filled Prints from the retirement list.  Sadly, it’s sold out. 🙁 The rose image consisted of 3 steps.  1st one was the solid stamp image, 2nd more detailed stamp image and 3rd small middle detailed image.  By stamping the 2nd stamped image several times, I was able to get a darker imprint… Read More »
