Carnivals and circus celebrations got nothing on this classic and whimsical set. There’s always time for a ferris wheel or a carousel when it comes to spoiling those you love.

For today’s post, I’m featuring the Carousel Birthday Stamp Set.  It’s the one I’m using for the card swap at OnStage in Shreveport, LA this coming weekend.

I used to collect carousel horses several years ago and it started when my son bought me a ceramic carousel.  I’ve since either given away or sold the other carousel horses but kept the carousel from my son (don’t all mother’s do that?) 🙂

 

The background on the card was made using the image of the carnival tent and So Saffron Classic Ink on So Saffron Card Stock.

I used the Stitched Shapes and Layering Circles Framelits to die cut the circles for the horse image.

If this stamp set doesn’t make it into the new annual catalog, I’m keeping it even after it retires.  I love the whimsical images and I especially love the Cupcakes and Carousel Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I’m ordering more before it’s all gone.
