Build a Blossom

By | January 25, 2011

Hi Stampers

Opener
The Building a Blossom Stamp Set is jam packed with delicate petal and leaf shapes, some solid and others patterned for life-like looking detail. Its largest petals feature sweet and gentle scallops and two different options for a flower center allow you to create a variety of gorgeous blooms.

I love the fact that the Build a Blossom Stamp Set coordinates with the Blossoms Petal Punch.  No more paper snips for this coordinating set!

The larger blossoms were stamped on Baja Breeze Card Stock with Baja Breeze Classic ink.  The smaller petals were stamped with Very Vanilla Craft Ink and embossed with Vanilla Emboss Powder (non SU) and heat set with the Heat tool.

Tip:  Punch out a circle from Baja Breeze Card Stock and arrange the petals on the circle and adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I did this for both the large and small blossoms.  I then attached an Antique Brad through both layers and adhered to the Elegant Soiree Designer Series Paper.

The sentiment is from My Digital Studio, printed out on Very Vanilla Card Stock and punched with the  1 3/4" x 7/8" Oval Punch and layered on Baja Breeze Card Stock punched out with the Designer Label Punch.

Gorgeous card! Thanks for sharing the card and tip! I hear a lot of people are having a hard time with the punch lining up with the stamp set. Love your blog!
