This is one of the stamp sets that will retire on 4 January 2009. I cased this card from dbarry at SCS but as usual it wasn't a true case in that I changed a couple of things on the card. Isn't that what casing is all about? You find a card you like and you tweaked it here and there to make it your own.
In case you haven't heard, all the stamp sets on the dormant list will retire on 4 January 2009. So if there is one you want from the list, now is the time to buy it. I am offering 20% off each stamp set – this offer is good only until 15 December 2009. Here are all the details…..
The tree was stamped in Chocolate Chip Craft Ink and then heat set with Clear Emboss Powder. The bird was stamped in Real Red Craft Ink and heat set with Clear Emboss Powder.
The snowflakes were stamped with White Craft Ink and then heat set with White Emboss Powder. Before heat setting the snowflakes, I added a little Dazzling Diamonds to them. Though you can't see it in the photo, it's looks very pretty . I also added the White Gel pen to some of the branches.
The sentiment was created by My Digital Studio and then printed on Whisper White card stock. I tore the edges to make it look like snow.
Counting the days until my preorder comes in so that I can start playing with the new clear mounted stamps and new punch designs – I am so excited! WOOHOO!!!
