For today’s card, I’m using the Cottage Rose Stamp Set and Cottage Flowers Dies to create a shabby chic card. The card was inspired by one of my favorite Artisans, Tammy Wilson! I absolutely love her shabby chic/vintage cards.
I started with a Boho Blue Cardstock as the base card. Then I added a layer of Vellum Cardstock embossed with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder. The next layer was the Silver and Gold Designer Series Paper cut with the scallop die from the Scallop Contours Dies.
The 3rd layer was the Basic White Thick Cardstock embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder and then punched with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch. Before attaching it to the front of the card, I added 2 flowers die cuts from the Cottage Flowers Dies using the Brushed Metallic Speciality Design Series Paper to the body of the tag. I then attached a double bow using the white ribbon from the Flowers for Every Seasons Ribbon Trio. That was secured with the Silver trim from the Simply Elegant Trim. Lastly I added the sentiment stamped with Boho Blue Ink and then cut with one of the circle dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies. To add even more sparkle to this card, I finished the card with gems from the Iridescent Pastel Gems.
Inside of the card – I added a strip of the Dry Brush Metallic DSP to a panel of Basic White Cardstock which was cut with the large die from the Scallop Contours Dies.
The envelope flap was embossed with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder.
