All Dressed Up!

Hi Stampin' Friends

I had so much fun making this card – felt like a little girl playing with paper dolls!  I used the Dressed Up Framelits die to die cut the dress using the Tea for Two Designer Series Paper.  The polka dot dress reminds me if the 1950's – I remember having a polka dot dress but it was navy blue with white polka dots.

The inspiration for this card came from Pinterest.  I love that site, I could get lost and lose so many hours surfing that site!

The button and ribbon is part of Sale-a-bration's Sycamore Street's Ribbon Pack and the sentiment is from the Petite Pairs Clear Mount Stamp Set.  The base card is Calypso Coral Card Stock – did you know this color is retiring?  I use this color a lot when I use the Tea for Two DSP but they are both going away this May so grab the colors before they are gone!

All-dressed-up-CC-1The ladies at my Big Shot class scheduled for Monday, 29 April 2013 will be making this card the card found here.

I made a mistake when I put this card together.  Can you guess what it is?  I didn't even notice it until I took the picture and was adding it to this blog.  Oh well!

  • Heartfelt Thanks

I thought I'd make a card without the designer series paper (gasp!!!).  Yesterday when I was playing around with spritzing the card stock with water before feeding it through the texturz plates and Big Shot, I made one using the scrolls plate from the Texturz Backgrounds #1.  As you can see it came out really…

    Tea Party

What’s more lovely than a cup of tea? The Tea Party Set!  It coordinates with the Afternoon Picnic Designer Series Paper and the Ovals Collection Framelits Dies.  I love the pitcher image in this stamp set.  It’s so quaint and elegant.  The flowers were colored with the Wisteria Wonder Stampin’ Write and  the leaves with the Old Olive Stampin’…

I wasn't in the mood to stamp today but I did want to have a card for you.  I pulled out this image that I had colored several weeks ago.  The reason I didn't use it because I used the wrong color (should have used Bordering Blue instead Baja Breeze).  I inked up the brayer…
