Hello my Stampin’ Friends

Today’s card is quick and simple birthday card for my husband using the retired A Good Man Stamp Set.

For the background I used the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper that was embossed with the Exposed 3D Embossing Folder. It was layered with the Basic Black Cardstock and then attached to the base card (Basic White Cardstock) with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Since one of our favorite restaurant in Eureka Springs is closed for the season, I’m taking him to the River Grille tonight for his birthday. In April, we will go Eureka Springs!

The image was stamped with Tuxedo Black Ink onto Basic White Cardstock. I then colored in the image as follows:

Non-SU Marker for skin
Boho Blue Stampin’ Blends for the hat and sorts
Daffodol Delight for the stripes in the chair
Garden Green Stampin’ Write Marker for the ground

The shirt was paper pieced with the same DSP as used for the background.

The front panel (main image) was cut using the Deckled Rectangle Dies. It was then layered with the Basic Black Cardstock and attached to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment was stamped with Tuxedo Black Ink and cut with the Circle Deckled Dies. This was also adhered to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
