Favorite images of spring with all the elegance of the spring season along with greetings for springtime celebration are included in the Eastern Blossoms Stamp set. The silhouette of a child delighting in Easter festivities was the one chosen for this card,
I absolutely love this stamp set and especially the silhouette of the little girl. It reminds me of vintage silhouettes of long ago. The paper used is the Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper and the ribbon is the Rose Red 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon, both from the Occasions Mini Catalog.
The image was stamped using Basic Black Classic Ink on Very Vanilla Card Stock. It was then layered with Rose Red and Always Artichoke Card Stock. The horizontal strip of Rose Red Card Stock was punched along the top side with the Eyelet Border Punch and then fed through the Big Shot Die Cut Machine using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder. The sentiment was stamped on Very Vanilla Card Stock with Rose Red Class Ink and then layered with Rose Red and Always Artichoke Card Stock.
All in all, a very pretty vintage card – don't you think?
Tip: Use your sanding block on a solid image the first time you use it. Solid designs must be conditioned prior to use to produce crisp, opaque images.
