Mr. Hoot

Hi Stampers

Opener
What would Valentine's Day be without Mr. Hoot (Two Step Owl Punch)!  I paired the cute little with the Valentine Defined Stamp Brush Set Digital Download just released from Stampin' Up! a couple of days ago.  One of the things I love about the digital images is that you can make them any size you like!  But at heart, I am a true hands-on stamper and usually make my cards using stamps and card stock.

Valentine-Defined copy
The owl was punched out from Basic Black Card Stock for the body, Whisper White Card Stock for the eyes, Love Impressions DSP  for the vest and the  Red Glimmer Paper from the Occasions Mini Catalog  for the heart.  It added just the right bling to the card!  Note:  My White Gel Pen is no longer working so I didn't do anything to the eyes on Mr. Hoot.

Both the bottom and the sentiment were printed out on Whisper White Card Stock using the Valentine Defined Stamp Brush Set Digital Download and My Digital Studio.  This adorable eight-piece stamp brush set has the perfect mix of Valentine's Day imagery and words to create all of your valentine and love projects.

Even though I used Whisper White in the body of the card, I decided to go with Confetti White Card Stock for the base card because it's a lot thicker and sturdier.

Thanks for stopping by today

Rachel I love this card. I never thought that I would be such a fan of “owls” but these little guys are so cute. Thanks for sharing.
