For Peep's Sake - Stampin' Up!

For today’s card, I wanted to use the For Peep’s sake Stamp Set. I think this is such a cute set – even the name is adorable!

I used the Irresistibly Yours Designer Series Paper from the Sale-a-bration Catalog. Did you know you can get this DSP FREE with your $50 order? This white paper with a glossy white pattern is perfect for coloring using the brayer, sponge and daubers. Coloring reveals the pattern. In this case, I just wanted a little green in the background. I used Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink and sponged it on with a Stampin’ Sponge.

The cute little chick was stamped with Crushed Curry and then cut out with our Paper Snips. The Easter Eggs were colored in with Blushing Bride, Wonder Wisteria and Marina Mist Stampin’ Write Markers and then cut out with our Paper Snips. The sentiment was stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black and then die cut using the Banner Framelits.
