Tusk & Trotter

Hi Stampers

Opener
I did have a card for you today but I went out to dinner tonight to what is called a "soft opening for family and friends"  for the Tusk & Trotter in Bentonville, AR.  Instead of a card, I thought I would brag a little bit about my son-in-law, David and the delicious dinner we had tonight.

The food was amazing and I think it will be a hit with Bentonville, AR.  Our son-in-law is the Sous Chef at this new establishment.

Tusk-&-Trotter

The restaurant was once Sam Walton's general office and warehouse.

Our appetizer was the Local Cheese Board made up of house made mozzarella and ricotta, assortment of local cheeses, frico, mixed nuts, dried fruits, tomato bread.  It was delicious!  And, of course, you must have a glass of wine with cheese, bread and grapes!

 Appetizer
I ordered the Rib Eye Steak which was called the Cowgirl Bone-in Ribeye which included fresh herbs, roasted garlic compound butter, and potatoes foresetiere.

My husband ordered the Truffled Shellfish Risotto which consisted of lobster, tiger shrimp, scallops, roasted garlic, saffron, corn, wild mushroom, fresh herbs, white truffle oil.

Menu
I forgot to take pictures of our dinners – too busy eating, I guess!

I'll have the card up on the blog tomorrow – good night!

 Thanks for stopping by today!
