This is the reason I make cards! When I make cards for my kids, grandkids and close friends, I always personalize it which means I may buy outside Stampin’ Up! for that perfect image. In this case, I found a digital image of a DJ (my grandson Tanner’s hobby) and made a card for his birthday. You can view it here. I received a text from my grandson below thanking me for the card. This makes it all worthwhile.
Speaking of going outside Stampin’ Up! (I’m a bad, bad girl!). I found this image for my granddaughter, Rachel, who just turned 8 because she loves the Monster High Dolls and must have every one in the collection. According to her, this one is called Frankie.
I tried to keep it simple but did add the doily and retired black lace ribbon to make it a little frilly.
I embossed the Basic Black Card Stock using the Zig Zag Embossing Folder to give the background definition.
