Apothecary Art

By | April 16, 2014
I saw this card on Facebook and fell instantly in love with it.  I changed it slightly but the original was made by Michelle Last (UK demo).  I think it’s so soothing and calming.  The Apothecary Art Stamp Set is one that I have not used in a long time and had forgotten how beautiful it is.

aAA1  If you noticed the pearls, they reflect the darker color (Island Indigo) and look blue!  But they are our standard Basic Jewels Pearl.
aAA2The leaves were colored in using the Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Marker from the Subtles Collection.  The flowers were colored in using the Coastal Cabana  from the 2013-2015 In-color Stampin’ Write Markers collection.  I added Island Indigo to the center of the flowers for a little more depth.  Also the sentiment was made using My Digital Studio and printed out in Island Indigo on Naturals Ivory Card Stock.  That’s one of the things I like about My Digital Studio – the fact that you can customize a sentiment for your card.

Note:  You can now print the card recipe so that it includes a picture of the card and supplies used.  This is such a great idea and it’s from the These Are My Stamps website.   Jut click on the “print recipe” link:
