Thanks for stopping by today

My dear sweet husband made the traditional New Year's Day dinner Hoppin' Johns.   It's was black eyed peas (with ham) over rice.   Eating Hoppin' John on New Year's Dayis thought to bring a prosperous year filled with luck.  On my side of the family, it would have been Menudo!  I love menudo!  And after 18 years of marriage I will learn to love Hoppin' John on New Year's Day. (LOL)
