Autumn Opulence: Sending Caring Thoughts with Acorns and Berries
For today’s post, I’m capturing the beauty of the fall season with the Autumn Opulence Specialty Designer Series Paper! Featuring elegant painted pumpkins, acorns, foliage, coordinating patterns, and two sheets of precut designs, this paper pack brings a refined fall feel to my projects. I love using it for scrapbooking, card making, and autumn paper crafting — these designs add such warm, seasonal detail to my handmade creations!
To begin, I cut Blackberry Bliss Cardstock to 11″ x 4 1/4″ with the paper trimmer, then scored it at the 5 1/2″ mark and folded it in half, burnishing the crease with the Bone Folder for a nice sharp fold. Next, I die cut a plaid pattern from the DSP using the largest die from the Layering Ovals Dies (5″ x 3 3/4″), and cut the Basic White Cardstock (4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″) with the next-to-largest die from the same set. I attached the acorn bouquet sticker from the same DSP to the Basic White oval die cut, then embossed it with the Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder before attaching it to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For the sentiment, I stamped a phrase from the Elegant Leaves Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss Ink onto Basic White Thick Cardstock and die cut it with the coordinating die from the Textured Notes Dies. To finish off the front, I added 3 Pumpkin Pie colored jewels for a little bling.
For the inside, I attached one of the leaf stickers from the sticker sheet to a piece of Basic White Cardstock (5 1/4″ x 4″) and adhered that to the inside of the card. I finished it off with a strip of the same DSP (6″ x 2 1/4″) used on the front, tying the whole design together for a cohesive look.
