Hi Crafty Friends
Don’t Forget!
Need a great masculine card? This design is one of my favorites! The layered leaves in Lost Lagoon and Old Olive look amazing against that vintage script background. It’s perfect for birthdays, thank you cards, or anytime you need something for the guys in your life. Let me show you how easy this is to put together!

Here’s How I Made This Card:
Front of Card
I started by cutting Very Vanilla cardstock to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and folding it in half with my bone folder to create a sharp, crisp crease for the card base. Next, I cut Old Olive cardstock to 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and adhered it to the front of the base card as my first layer.
For the second layer, I cut Nature’s Walk Designer Series Paper to 5 1/4″ x 4″ and adhered it to the card front. Then I added a piece of the scripted DSP measuring 3 3/4″ x 2″ on top. I cut a Lost Lagoon panel from the same DSP collection to 3 3/4″ x 1″, carefully tore the right edge for a natural look, and positioned it just to the right of the scripted panel.
I added Irregular Weave Trim in a “z” pattern across the front of the card, securing it in place. Using the Nature’s Symphony Dies, I die-cut a large leaf from the Nature’s Walk DSP and attached it over the trim with Stampin’ Dimensionals to create dimension and visual interest.
For the finishing touch, I stamped a sentiment using Old Olive ink on Very Vanilla cardstock, cut it with the Three Banners Punch, and adhered it to the lower right corner of the card front.

Inside the Card:
I cut Old Olive cardstock to 5 1/4″ x 4″ and adhered it inside the card. I stamped “Happy Birthday” from the Right Words Stamp Set on the panel, then added a coordinating strip of DSP measuring 5″ x 1/2″ along the bottom to complete the inside design.
Envelope:
I added the same Nature’s Walk Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap and trimmed it to size for a more cohesive look.
