This elegant anniversary card features a delicate heart-shaped wreath created with the Heart Shaped Dies, layered over the Made with Love Designer Series Paper (DSP) in Real Red. The white embossed branches with tiny leaves form a romantic heart frame that perfectly showcases the simple “Happy Anniversary” sentiment.

Here’s How I Made This Card:
I started with my card base: I cut Basic White cardstock to 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, then folded it in half to create a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ horizontal card base. Layer #1 – Real Red mat: I cut Real Red cardstock to 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and attached it to the card base. Layer #2 – White embossed panel: I cut Basic White cardstock to 5 1/4″ x 4″, then ran it through my embossing folder (Beautiful Patterns) to add texture. I adhered this to the red layer.

Layer #3 – Inner red mat: I cut another piece of Real Red cardstock to 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ and adhered it on top of the white embossed panel. Layer #4 – Made with Love DSP: I cut the Make with Love Designer Series Paper (red polka dot pattern) to 4 5/8″ x 3 3/8″ and adhered it to the red mat. I die-cut the heart wreath: Using the Heart Shape Dies and Basic White cardstock, I die-cut the beautiful heart wreath with leafy vines and flowers. – 2 hearts

I created the sentiment banner: I stamped “Happy Anniversary” on a strip of Basic White cardstock, then trimmed it into a banner shape. I assembled the focal point: I positioned the white heart wreath on the polka dot background and secured it with adhesive. Then I placed the sentiment banner across the center of the heart using Stampin’ Dimensionals

For the inside of the card, I layered it with Real Red Cardstock, the Basic White Cardstock and attached both layers with Multi purpose Glue. The sentiment was computer generated. I punch out a small heart using the same dSP and added it right below the word Day. Lastly, I cut a piece of the Made with Love DSP and adhered it to the envelope flap to coordinate with the card design.
