Thanks for Being You” Card with Charming Day Bundle

By | January 3, 2026

Hello Crafting Friends!

I’m absolutely loving the Charming Day Bundle for creating elegant thank you cards! This design showcases how beautifully the floral images layer together, and I added some fun texture with embossing to make the white-on-white elements really pop. The combination of the delicate Designer Series Paper with that bold magenta flower creates such a striking focal point. It’s one of those cards that looks complex but comes together surprisingly quickly – my favorite kind of project! The “Thanks for Being You” sentiment is perfect for those special people in your life who deserve a handmade card that shows you care.

To begin, I cut a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock to 11″ x 4 1/4″ and folded it in half using a Bone Folder for a sharp crease. Next, I cut another piece to 5 1/4″ x 4″ and embossed it with the Beautiful Patterns Embossing Folder before adhering it to the card base. I then cut a third piece to 4 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ and attached it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals to add a little pop.

For the top layer, I cut three strips: a right strip of Basic White Cardstock measuring 3 7/8″ x 3/4″, a left strip measuring 3 7/8″ x 1 1/4″, and a center strip from the Floral Charm Designer Series Paper (DSP) measuring 3 7/8″ x 3/4″. I embossed all three strips with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder and added them to the card front (see picture for placement).

I stamped the flower image and sentiment with Tuxedo Black Ink, then die cut them using the coordinating Charming Days and Stylish Shapes Dies. I colored the images with Stampin’ Blends—Berry Burst for the flower, Mossy Meadow for the leaves, and Daffodil Delight for the flower center.

I positioned the circle sentiment 1 3/4″ down from the top of the card. Then I attached another horizontal strip of the same DSP (2 7/8″ x 3/4″) across the panel, overlapping the bottom of the circle. Finally, I adhered the flower image to the left side of the top panel.

For the card interior, I attached a piece of Basic White Cardstock (5 1/4″ x 4″), added a strip of Basic White (4″ x 1″) embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder, and included a piece of the same DSP (6″ x 2 1/4″) used on the front.

Happy New Year!!! I just love all the use of all the embossing folders. Very stunning card. I love using them but afraid to mix too many of them. Now I won’t be. Thank you.

Thanks Kathy. Yes, I was like that at first but if they complement each other that works!
