Hello my Stampin’ Friends

For today’s project, I decided to create a card with a matching 3D item using the Book Treat Boxes. I’m also incorporating the Perennial Lavender 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper. Yay – this beautiful paper carried over and is now available in the Online Exclusives section!

This elegant handmade card showcases a stunning trio of peonies from the Gallery Blooms Bundle, colored in rich Highland Heather with a subtle sparkle effect. The dimensional flowers are complemented by foliage in Shaded Spruce, creating a striking color combination that feels both sophisticated and vibrant. A delicate white twine bow ties the stems together, adding a touch of understated charm to the floral arrangement. A tiny Highland Heather butterfly embellishment perched in the upper corner adds an enchanting finishing touch.

The floral image is mounted on a panel of Basic White cardstock that has been embossed with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder, creating an intricate background of elegant swirls and patterns that resembles vintage tile work. This textured background adds dimension without competing with the colorful peonies, while a die cut edge along the right side reveals a sliver of coordinating designer series paper with subtle Highland Heather accents. The combination of texture and color creates a layered, dimensional look.

The card’s clean design maintains focus on the beautiful Highland Heather blooms while incorporating subtle details that add interest. The all-white base allows the vivid colors to stand out dramatically, while the embossed background adds sophisticated texture. This card would be perfect for special occasions, sympathy notes, or simply to let someone know you’re thinking of them.

A thin strip of Designer Series Paper was added to the left side of the card’s interior. For a coordinated look, the same decorative strip was placed along the left side of the envelope front.

The box was decorated with the same Designer Series Paper used on the card. The smaller flower image from the Gallery Blooms Bundle was colored in with Highland Heather for the blooms and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends for the leaves.

The box hold ix Dove Chocolates perfectly. For a double layer, it will hold 12 chocolates.
