This Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Evergreens card stands as a perfect example of simple and quick, capturing a beautiful balance of simplicity and elegance.
This elegant handmade birthday card showcases a striking Blueberry Bushel and Basic White color scheme with thoughtful layering of textures and patterns. The card features a Blueberry Bushel base with decorative borders at the top and bottom. These borders combine blue and white gingham checkered pattern, from the retired Gorgeous Gingham 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper (DSP) in the center, flanked by embossed white sections with a diamond or crosshatch texture from the Metal Plate 3D Embossing Folder. The entire design is framed with a clean Blueberry Bushel border that creates a polished, finished look.
The focal point of the card is a serene winter forest scene with a row of deep blue pine trees stamped across the center of the Basic White card panel. The trees are rendered with an artistic, slightly impressionistic quality that gives them dimension and character. Below this forest line, “Happy Birthday” is elegantly scripted in matching Blueberry Bushel ink, with “Happy” in a flowing cursive font and “BIRTHDAY” in a bold, outlined block style. The greeting is from the retired Celebrate You Stamp Set. Three small navy blue gems or dots are placed in the bottom left corner, adding a subtle decorative element that complements the overall design. The gems are from the retired Opal Rounds Assortment.
The card’s clean lines and thoughtful composition demonstrate careful craftsmanship, The overall aesthetic combines winter imagery with a classic Blueberry Bushel palette, creating a birthday card that feels both seasonal and timeless in its appeal.
A group of evergreens is stamped in Blueberry Bushel on the lower right side of the inside of the card, while the coordinating Gorgeous Gingham DSP in Blueberry Bushel attached to the envelope flap shows attention to detail.
