Hello my Stampin’ Friends
Yep, fall is here. When I walk the dog at 7 am, it is in the low 40’s. Burrrrr🥶 Not looking forward to below freezing weather but I do love the snow so there’s that.
The Magnolia Mood Stamp Set adds a sweet floral touch to your cards and crafts. Use a single color for quick, detailed magnolias, or color them for extra flair. Add a message for birthdays or support. Easy to use, with beautiful results every time.
To create this elegant birthday fun fold card, start with Basic White Thick Cardstock, fold in half and cut down the front of the card at 1″ on both side – cut to the score line. Add a layer of Balmy Blue Cardstock. and then add light blue striped panels on the sides and background. The stripes have a watercolor effect, giving a soft, artistic touch and are from the retired Brushstrokes Background Stamp.
Next, cut a large white magnolia flower from the Magnolia Mood Die as the centerpiece. Sponge lightly some of the leaves in the die cut with a Sponge Dauber and Old Olive Ink. Additionally, surround it with intricate green leaf cutouts in Old Olive Cardstock. Layer these elements on top of the striped background for depth and visual interest.
Finally, add a “Happy Birthday” sentiment in elegant script at the bottom stamped with Old Olive Ink on Basic White Thick Cardstock. Finish the card by placing small Balmy Blue enamel dots (from the retired Subtles Candy Dots) strategically around the design for subtle accents. The result is a sophisticated, nature-inspired birthday card with a fresh color palette of Basic White, Balmy Blue, and Old Olive.
