Good Afternoon my Stampin’ Friends
September’s final day has arrived, and I’m astounded by how swiftly the month passed. The temperature remains warm, hovering in the 80s, which suits me just fine. Nevertheless, I’m eagerly anticipating the autumn season – the vibrant fall foliage, cozy cups of hot chocolate topped with marshmallows, and scenic drives in our Miata to take in the colorful landscape.
Today’s card features a elegant and heartfelt design (Regal Flora Bundle) with a Basic White background. The Basic White cardstock front panel has been embossed with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder that adds subtle texture and visual interest across the entire surface. A thin border of the Blackberry Bliss Cardstock (base card) frames the edges of the card, providing a rich contrast to the white background.
The focal point of the card is a vibrant floral arrangement positioned in the upper left quadrant. It consists of large, flowers stamped with Daffodil Delight and Wild Wheat Inks, accompanied by deep Berry Burst stamped foliage and Shaded Spruce stamped leaves. These elements are layered to create depth and dimension. Beneath the flowers, two decorative strips – one in Blackberry Bliss and one in Wild Wheat patterns from the Regal Winter Designer Series Paper (DSP) – add horizontal interest and complement the color scheme.
The sentiment is stamped in Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White cardstock and fussy cut with our Paper Snips, maintaining the clean and elegant aesthetic of the overall design. A few small, clear rhinestones (from Genial Gems) are strategically placed around the card to add subtle sparkle.
Two matching strips decorate the inside left edge, mirroring the front design. The same Blackberry Bliss patterned paper is used inside, creating a cohesive look throughout the card.
