Good Afternoon my Stampin’ Friends!
Today’s card is a birthday card for my granddaughter, Sydney. The central focus is an illustration of a woman with long, wavy blonde hair, Lemon Lolly and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. Her face is left blank, giving the impression of a stylized portrait and was colored in Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends. The woman is adorned with vibrant Cherry Cobbler Ink flowers, likely poppies or similar blooms, along with Granny Apple Green Ink leaves and small Crumb Cake Ink berries or buds. The top was colored in Pool Party Stampin’ Blends.
The card has a personalized message that reads “Happy Birthday Sydney” in a cursive script at the bottom. The top panel is set against a cream-colored background (Very Vanilla Cardstock), which is mounted on a decorative floral Non-SU patterned paper. This outer border features Pool Party, Cherry Cobbler, Granny Apple Green and other pastel shades, giving the card a feminine and vintage feel.
Several small, clear embellishments that resemble water droplets or gems (Elegant Faceted Gems) are scattered around the card, adding a touch of sparkle and dimension.
The card’s design showcases meticulous attention to detail, creating a harmonious and cohesive look throughout. The interior is elegantly bordered with the same floral pattern used on the front, while a narrow strip of this patterned paper accents the bottom of the main cardstock. Extending the coordinated aesthetic, the envelope flap also features the matching pattern. This thoughtful integration of design elements across all components – from the envelope to the card’s interior – results in a polished and visually pleasing presentation that enhances the overall gifting experience.

Add fanciful flair to your projects with the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots. The unique crisscross pattern on these dots makes a great addition to themed projects that use ribbon or stitching. Use the colored gems individually for a monochromatic look or use together for more sparkle and dimension.
