I bet you are wondering where the word “valenversary” came from! My husband and I were married on 14 February 1993. When he proposed, we decided that I would pick the date and he would pick the location. So, we were married at the top of Run #2 at the Loveland Ski Resort in Colorado. Everyone had to ski coming down the slopes even the Pastor! So rather than make two cards for that day, I combined them.
I wanted to make a masculine card and at the same time not use the traditional colors for Valentine’s Day so I came up with Misty Moonlight and Soft Succulent. The DSP for the background is the Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper (DSP). After die cutting the heart, I embossed it with the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder. I then attached it to the DSP background using one of our Adhesive Sheets. The greeting was computer generated and die cut with the banner die from the Number of Years Dies.
Thanks for stopping by – have a wonderful weekend!
