Before and After and some blog candy

By | June 13, 2013

Hi Stampin’ Friends

One last picture from my birthday party and then I won’t bore you any longer!

Before-and-After

We’ve been close friends since 1960.  Left to right Rita, Me, Diana and Becky.  We are all 70 years old and 3 of our birthdays are in May – Rita’s is in February.  The after picture was taken at my birthday party in California!

AND NOW FOR SOME BLOG CANDY!

1-DSC01300

I’m giving away two stamp sets (wood mount).  They are Million-Dollar Moments and Patterned Occasions.  Leave a comment on my blog (any post) and tell me which is your  “must have” from the new catalog.  For me it was the Magnetic Platform which I absolutely love!  I’ll take comments until Monday 17 June 2013 and announce the winner on this blog on Tuesday, 18 June 2013.

I’m new to word press and I think you have to click on an individual post to bet the comments section to come up.  If you have any problems, send me your comment via e-mail.  US only please.

Thanks for stopping by today!

I am not bored by your birthday photos! It is so nice that you and your long-time friends could all get together and celebrate.

The Magnetic Platform is at the top of my list! Especially since I half ruined the top page of my Multipurpose Platform. I accidentally (twice) put a die facedown without a cutting plate under it. The warning ‘this is not a cutting surface’ is so true.

I LOVE the new Stamp Boxes! I would love to get ALL of my wood mounts into them eventually, since I won’t ever part with any of them! ( I have stamp sets going back to 1996…LOL)

I also am going to start saving my nickels and dimes for the magnetic platform. After using it yesterday, I gotta have one!

Thank you for sharing how to leave a comment, I wanted to do so on another post “the 4 rachels” but couldn’t figure it out. I wanted to let you know that You had such a beautiful party and Tyla and I were glad we could make it. As I was leaving I saw your friends trying to drag you out to dance, and I wished I had a cam cord because it was such a classic moment. It was a moment to admire and It made me happy for you, that you have such great and “fun” people in your life, But it also made me long for the same thing someday with my group of friends. The picture you posted about is just awesome, I love it. I hope you continue to share special moments like this. Have a great day Rachel.

Well I shudder at the thought of only being able to order one thing, but I guess it would have to be the new magnetic platform as well, I can’t wait to get it, but I have to and it is killing me!

I don’t order many stamps – so I take forever to decide on ones I can afford to purchase. I am still browsing! Tough decision. Thanks for a chance to win though!

I would say the magnetic platform. Though I love the new embossing folders, too.
