Today’s card features the delight, adorable playful penguins, polar bears and other small creates from the Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper. Are they not the cutest?
Did you know you can get this DSP for FREE with a purchase of $50? And you can purchase the coordinating stamp set Penguin Place from the July-December Mini Catalog.
And there is a coordinating punch – how cool!
I always enjoy using images from our designer series paper as the main focal point of a card. Fussy cutting the images reminds me of when I used to cut paper dolls as a young girl.
What I did:
- Cut Fresh Freesia Cardstock for base card with our Paper Trimmer. Fold in half using the Bone Folder for a sharp crease.
- Cut Misty Moonlight Cardstock and attach to base card with our Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Cut Penguin Playments DSP
- Die cut 3 circles using the Layering Circles Dies from Misty Moonlight, Just Jade and Fresh Freesia Cardstock.
- Adhere the circles to the DSP (see card for placement). Emboss with the retired 3D Subtle Embossing Folder.
- Fussy cut one of the images from the Penguin Playmates Designer Series with our Paper Snips. In this case, it was the penguin and polar bear building a snowman.
- Attach to front of card (see card for placement) with Stampin’ Dimensionals to make them pop.
- Stamp sentiment from the Penguin Place Stamp Set and die cut with the die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
- Adhere to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Add 3 rhinestone from the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels
