Manhattan Flower

Manhattan-Flower copy

Today's card is for SCS Limited Supplies Challenge LSC213 which is to use only black and white.    I thought that the Manhattan Flower textured impressions would be perfect for this challenge.   I used whisper white to emboss the flower and then cut it out along one of the edges.  The sentiment is stamped on Black Linen Textured card stock.  I used White craft ink and then heat embossed using White Embossing Powder.  I do not know where I purchased the organdy ribbon.  I'm almost as bad about collecting ribbon as I am about collecting pattern paper.

I made a vanilla and black card on my other blog yesterday but it's more of a traditional card rather the modern card I made above.  You can see it here on Inspirations by Rachel.

Don't forget about my candy giveaway.  Check it out here.  The deadline to enter your comments is 1 April 2009.
