Isn’t this cute???

Dress copy

Isn't this the cutest dress?  I downloaded the pattern from the SU website.  If you are interested in receiving a copy of the pattern in pdf format, please sign up for my newsletter – it will be in the May issue.  The sign up form is at the upper left sidebar.

This card can be used several ways:

  • Baby Shower
  • Welcome Baby
  • Christening
  • 1st Birthday

I first printed out the pattern on regular printer paper to see what it looked like.  I then printed it out on Parisian Summer DSP and cut out the pattern.

My granddaughter who is 8 came into the room and asked if she could have the pattern I had printed out the first time (printer paper) and I said yes.  She then dug into her stash (she has a whole drawer full of leftovers – card stock, embellishments, left over DSP paper, etc) and made a card.  The dots are  made with markers.

I was going to shoot it against a white background, but she stuck the green pattern paper in back.  What an imaginative mind for an 8 year old!

Don't forget, if you would like a copy of the pattern, sign up for my newsletter!

Thanks and see you tomorrow!
