World Treasures

By | August 18, 2012

Hi Stampin' Friends

Hope you are enjoying your weekend.  Weather has been perfect around here - you want to be outdoors or at least I do!

This card is for Debbie's private class, scheduled for Tuesday, 21 August 2012.  If you would like to hold a private class or would like more information on what is a private class, please contact me at rachel@artisticdesignsbyrachel.com

World-Treasures copy
Glitter-peacockThe card features the World Treasures Stamp Set and the sentiment is from the My Friend Stamp Set.    I stamped the peacock with Midnight Muse Classic Ink, added Iridescent Ice Stampin' Emboss Powder and set it with our new Heat Tool.

Don't know if you can see it but it is so pretty IRL.  The peacock just sparkles.

Here's another angle, perhaps you can see the iridescent ice on the peacock.

 Tips:

  1. You can use the new ink pads for embossing.  The embossing powders stick right to it.
  2. Our new Heat Tool has two settings, (low for drying the new inks and high for embossing).

I think it’s awesome that the new pads can be used for embossing (that’s one of the reasons I like Versafine so much). I can’t see the shimmer on the peacock, but I’m sure it looks beautiful.

I love the idea of using the new pads for embossing cuts out that extra step. Thanks for sharing. I would love a chance to win your blog candy.
