I used the Christmas Season Bundle to create a card for you today. I absolutely love all the Christmas products in the July to December Catalog but I especially love especially this bundle. There are so many ideas running through my head regarding on how to use this set and I will share them with you in the coming weeks. Note: You can save 10% by ordering the stamp set and the dies as a bundle instead of buying them individually.
I didn’t have a sentiment I wanted to use so I made my own using my computer and the word program. And now the lyrics from this song keep running through head. “Sleigh bell rings, are you listening? In the lane, snow is glistening…….”
What I did:
- Base card: Take Basic White Thick Cardstock and fold in half using a Bone Folder for a sharper crease.
- Next Layer: Adhere Silver Foil Sheet to the base card with our Multi-purpose Liquid Glue.
- Front Layer: Emboss the Basic White Cardstock with Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder and attach to the card.
- Pinecones:
- Stamp solid image with Smoky Slate Ink
- Using the coordinating line image, stamp with Versamark Ink over the solid image.
- Add Silver Embossing Powder and set with the Heat Tool.
- Leaves: Stamp with Versamark Ink and then add Silver Embossing Power and set with the Heat Tool.
- Die Cuts:
- Die Cut the pinecones with the coordinating die from the Seasonal Labels Dies.
- For the leaves, die cut with the coordinating die from the same set of dies.
- Die cut the branches using Smoky Slate Cardstock and the Intricate Leaves Dies.
- Adhere to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (see card for placement).
- Crinkled Trim: Form 3 loops and tie in center with White Twine to form a bow.
- Create sentiment and die cut with coordinating label die.
- Punch small hole in label and tie to bow with the silver trim.
- Attach to center of pinecones with mini glue dots.
- Add rhinestones.
