For today’s card, I’m using the cute as can be Wildly Adorable Stamp Set. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it and it was one of the 1st stamp sets I ordered when were able to order on 4 May 2021. Perfect timing because my nephew and wife had their first baby about two weeks ago. Congratulations Aaron and Lona!🥰
Couldn’t decide which image to use first but then selected the baby with the bunny ears – cute isn’t he? The image was stamped with Tuxedo Black on Basic White Cardstock and colored in with the Balmy Blue Stampin’ Write Marker for the outfit and Nude Stampin’ Blends for the face and hands. The ears and feet were colored in with the Blushing Bride Stampin’ Write Marker. It was then fussy cut with our Paper Snips.
The ovals were created with the Layering Ovals Dies. After gluing them together, I embossed them with the 3D Subtle Embossing Folder to give the background a little interest.
The gingham background is from the Gingham Gala 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. I would have loved for this set to come with coordinating baby designer series paper!
This is the inside of the card. The sentiment is computer generated and then the Basic White panel was die cut with the Stitched With Whimsy dies, again to give it the panel some interest.
