When is a negative positive?

By | January 2, 2014

When it’s a picture of Poppa & Rachel!  Since the Film Strip in the On Film Framelits Dies, from the Occasions catalog,  reminds me of the film for cameras that still use 35MM still format, I decided to use a picture of them and make a negative out of that picture.   aPoppa-&-Rachel-1This card is for David’s birthday.  It’s on 21 February 2014 so I am way ahead of the game – usually I’m making a card at the last minute.  I’ll include the picture inside the card so that he can see where the negative came from.  Poppa-&-Rachel-pix David & Rachel are so close and he spends a lot of time with her (takes her swimming every Sunday) so I guess I can say they are “best buddies!”  Kids grow up so fast so we are taking advantage of the fact that she wants to spend time with us because when they get older, they’ll go out and do their own thing (believe me, I have 5 teenage grandchildren so I know how fast they grow!)

The background paper is Modern Medley Designer Series Paper.  The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes and was stamped on Very Vanilla Card Stock with Cherry Cobbler Ink.  I then punched it out using the Word Window Punch and layered until Basic Black Card Stock which was punched out with the Modern Label Punch.

If you would like to place an order for Stampin’ Up! supplies, visit my Stampin’ Store for 24/7 service If you need any help in placing an order, please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy your day!

What I used to make this card:  – I can’t show you the new items until the catalog goes live on 3 January 2014.
