Are you ready for another card? This time I thought I would try and watercolor this beautiful set with a little paper piecing thrown in. What do you think of when you think pretty pumpkins? I think of fall, pumpkin spice coffee and my favorite – pumpkin pie! 🥧
So, for today’s post, it’s the Pretty Pumpkins Stamp Set Bundle! And, since I didn’t have a stamp set that had Happy Thanksgiving, I used a computer generated one to include with this card.
Card Measurements and Instructions:
- Base card: Basic White Thick Cardstock (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″). Fold in half using a Bone Folder for a sharper crease.
- Next Layer: Pool Party Cardstock (5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″). Adhere to base card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Background: Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper (5 1/4″ x 4″).
- Lightly spritz watercolor paper with water.
- To create the washed background, add Pool Party Ink to one of the stampin’ acrylic blocks. Add water until you get the desired color. Brush the Water Painter across the wet watercolor paper to create the washed background. Set aside to dry. Note: You can tape it down to keep it from curling up while it dries.
- When dry, attached to card with Tear and Tape Adhesive.
