What is going on in Ukraine is beyond disturbing. So many are displaced, having to leave their beloved country. When I saw that the Color Hues Challenge was asking for cards to honor Ukraine, I had to make one.
And please keep the people of Ukraine in your thoughts and prayers.
The base card is Misty Moonlight Cardstock with the next layer in Basic White Cardstock that was embossed with the Brick N Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.
The sunflower was stamped with Bumblebee ink on Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper (DSP). I stamped it twice to get a crisp dark image with the Stamparatus. It was then die cut using the Sunflower die. The sprigs were die cut from the same DSP with the Flourishing Ferns Dies.
The sentiment was stamped with Misty Moonlight Ink on Basic White Cardstock. I then die cut it with one of the label dies from the Painted Labels Dies. I also added DSP under the label and fussy cut it a 1/16″ border. The triple bow was made from the Flowers for every Season Ribbon Combo.
