Today’s card is for my BFF Becky who lives in California. Becky, my other friend Diana and me have been close friends since high school. I am godmother to both Becky’s and Diana’s daughters and Becky is my daughter, Stephanie’s, godmother.
I really enjoyed making this card and it was fun to color in the images and also paper-pierce two of the tops on the ladies. I used our new Lullaby Designer Series Paper for the paper piercing which will be available on 2 June 2014.
One of the things I like about our paper is that it is color coordinated with our card stock and the colors are printed out in the back of the DSP so that there is no guessing on what matches. The colors I used in this case were Whisper White, So Saffron, Crisp Cantaloupe, Baked Brown Sugar and Smokey Slate.
I added a rhinestone to the ring finger of each lady just give the card a little bling.

The image is from Bring on the Cake Digital Download. I made the flames using the ornament punch. I just flipped it upside down and colored it with Daffodil Delight.
