The Color Purple and a Free Stamp Set of the Month Winner

Before I go into today's card, I'd like to announce the winner of the Free Stamp Set of the Month for January.  The free Stamp Set is Eat Chocolate from the Occasions Mini Catalog and the winner is Sondra Agathakis.  Sondra, please let me know whether you want wood or clear mount.

Now for today's card……My Elegant Eggplant card stock was gathering dust so I thought I would make a card with it using my newest favorite stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  It's called Clearly for You which has an  assortment of intricate vintage-style images and greetings including a noble crown, delicate angel bust, trio of gentle birds, ornate bloom, and elaborately flourished background.  I love all the vintage images!

The image was colored in using Elegant Eggplant and Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers and stamped on Very Vanilla Card Stock.  The border around the floral image is from the Matchbox Messages Stamp Set, inked up with the Soft Suede Classic Inkpad. 

The Ribbon is the 5/8" Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon.  The base card is Elegant Eggplant which was embossed using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.  The top of the card is Very Vanilla Card Stock embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.

I stamped a scrap of Very Vanilla Card Stock with the floral image from Tiny Tags using Soft Suede Classic ink and stamped the hello from Tiny Tags in Elegant Eggplant.  All three tags were punched out using the Jewelry Tag Punch.
