Thanks for caring – Sneak Peek

By | December 23, 2010

Hi Stampers

Opener
I'm using one of the new stamp sets called "Thanks for Caring" from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  The catalog will go live on 4 January 2011 and you should have your copy in  hand this week.  It's full of gorgeous new stamp sets and accessories – something for everyone – no matter your taste.

I made the flower using retired Bashful Blue Satin Ribbonafter viewing Cristena Bagne's video.  It's really quite easy and fast to make.  I used a rhinestone from the Circle Fire Rhinestone Brads for the center of the flower and to anchor it to the card.  The three small rhinestones are Non-SU.

I stamped the sentiment on Confetti White Card Stock with Bashful Blue Craft Ink.  The base card (Bashful Blue Card Stock) was embossing using  the Vintage Wallpaper Texture Embossing Folder.  The Confetti White strip of card stock was punched on both borders using the Scallop Trim Border Punch.

I don’t know if it is proper to say this about a sympathy card, but it is beautiful! Love your flower and the new stamp. The embossing folder & stamp look like they were made for each other.

    Merry Christmas!
