Hi Stampers
I've been decluttering my stamp room and came across this beautiful lace still in the sealed wrap package! I know that it is not a Stampin' Up! product but I wanted to use it because it screamed Shabby Chic/Vintage and you know how I love those type of cards.
I'm also using the Thanks for Caring Stamp Set which retired last year. The DSP is from the Attic Boutique Designer Series Paper from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I absolutely love this paper with it's eclectic designs. It is part of the Attic Boutique Product Suite found on page 22 – 26.
Quick Tip:
I have found a quick and easy way to attach small flowers and leaves to your card. It's so much easier than trying to arrange the flowers and leaves on the card and getting glue all over the place.
I cut out the leaves using the Bird Punch. The flowers are SU retired and came in Very Vanilla so I used the Poppy Parade Reinker to die two of them. The oval was punched out using the Small Oval Punch.
I added Tombow Multipurpose Adhesive to the small oval die cut and then arranged the flowers and leaves until I was happy with the look.
This is before I trimmed the oval.
This is after. As you can see, I snipped around the area that were not glued to the leaves or roses.
The finished product. Now all you have to do is attach it to the card. Believe me it is soooo much easier!

Gorgeous card! Is that appropriate to say for a sympathy card?
Love the paper, lace, and flowers. Thanks for the tip.
