First of all, I want to thank all my customers that placed an order during the Huge Sale this weekend. I really appreciate your support!
Like I said in an earlier post, I must be in a blue mood! Not the sad kind but the kind where I seem to be making card with blue themes. Really, blue is a calming color and with all the hectic pace that the holidays bring, I need this calming influence in my life!
I've always like the Bella Bleu Designer Series Paper and I decided to make a card with it. Though Bordering Blue is not one of the coordinating colors listed with the DSP, I decided to use it because I think it matches beautifully!
The flower was die cut using the small Simple Flower embosslits die (Page 195 of the Idea Book & Catalog). I sponged Bordering Blue around the edges and in the center of the flower.
If you notice the border around the Very Vanilla card stock is not your usual border punch. I made it using the Curly Label Punch. The directions on how to make this border are shown under this post.
I also scored a couple of lines on the Very Vanilla card stock to sort of help me to line up the letters. The letters are from the Many Thanks Sizzlits Die (Page 196 of the Idea Book & Catalog).
Here are the printer friendly card directions:
