Hi Stampers
Today's card showcases several different items such as the Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper, Postage Stamp Punch, and Perfect Punches Stamp Set. I focused on the Tangerine Tango color in the DSP and paired that with Melon Mambo. A very bright and colorful combination!
The Beyond the Garden DSP was punched out three times using the Postage Stamp Punch and layered on a 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" square piece of Melon Mambo Card Stock. A piece of Beyond the Garden DSP (4 1/4" x 2 3/4") was adhered to the top of the base card and then the front of the card was embossed with the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The three squares were then adhered to the front of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped with Melon Mambo Classic ink on Whisper White Card Stock and then cut out with Paper Snips. The Tangerine Tango Card Stockwas punched out using the Wide Oval Punch and adhered to the base card with Stampin' Dimensionals. The card was finished off with Whisper White 5/8" Satin Ribbon to soften the overall look of the card.
I decided to add the Basic Rhinestones at the last minute to jazz it up a little more. They were colored in using the So Saffron Stampin' Write Marker.
Blog Candy: It's time for some more blog candy! No, not that type of blog candy! That type I would definitely keep!
Instead of a stamp set, I thought I would give away some die cuts from the Fun Flowers Bigz L Die in every color of the following card stock (Regals, Subltes, Brights and In-Color Collections). I will use one full sheet (8 1/2" x 11") which will give two of each die cut. If you already have the Fun Flowers Die and would like die cuts of another die, please let me know (excludes the ones that require 12 x 12 paper).
All you have to do is leave a comment on any post between now and 15 May 2011 and your name will be entered into the drawing. I'll announce the winner on this blog on 16 May 2011 so be sure and check the blog on that date to see if you are the winner.
Thanks for stopping by today!
~~Rachel
