Hi Crafty Friends!
If you’ve been looking for a reason to try a fun fold card, this is it! Today I’m sharing a fun fold birthday card using the gorgeous Delicate Whispers Dies and Delicate Dreams Designer Series Paper (DSP), and I’m absolutely in love with how it turned out. The soft, watercolor-style florals are just so pretty, and they look stunning against the texture of the burlap pattern from the same DSP.

I started by cutting my panels for the fun fold base. I layered each panel with Mossy Meadow cardstock and then added the burlap-textured DSP on top — that natural, earthy look is such a perfect backdrop for the soft florals.
For the flowers, I cut them from the coordinating Delicate Whispers Dies. Those die cut flowers just pop when you add them with Stampin’ Dimensionals! I scattered a few of the smaller accent flowers across both panels to fill in the space and add that little something extra.
The sentiment panel in the center is simple and clean — just “HAPPY Birthday” on Basic White — and that simplicity really lets the florals do the talking. The sentiment is from the Greeting for All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.

For the inside of the card base, I added the DSP burlap pattern panels to both the top and bottom sections, along with the sentiment layer. I constructed it this way because the center of the card uses a clear acetate sheet — and since any adhesive would show right through it, keeping that center section completely free of adhesive was a must!

That same small floral image was die cut from the Delicate Dreams DSP using the coordinating die and attached to the Basic White Cardstock inside the card. I also used the Delicate Dreams DSP to line the envelope flap — such a pretty finishing touch that coordinates beautifully with the card!
