Good Morning Stampers!
I forgot to post this card a couple of days ago. This is one of the cards that was made by my ladies who attended the New Techniques class on 20 January 2009.
The bird was stamped with Basic Brown on watercolor paper and the colored in using the ink pads and an aqua painter. Some Platinum Shimmer paint was added to the wings though you cannot see this in the photograph.
Bordering Blue was run through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder from the Occasions Mini Catalog. The gorgeous ribbon is from the Very Vanilla 5/8 Satin Ribbon also available in the Occasions Mini Catalog.
The next New Techniques class is scheduled for Tuesday, 3 February 2009. If you live in the Bella Vista, AR area and would like to attend, click here for all the details. I'll demonstrate the Reversed Brayed Textured Impressions Embossing Folder technique. You simply brayer on some ink onto the embossing folder and then run it through the Big Shot. I'll have a couple of samples on this blog in the next couple of days.
Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you tomorrow!
