A friend and her husband recently lost their dog, Hanna. They had her for about 15 years. I found this digital image at Etsy and decided to make a card for them using the image. It is such a cute image and I hope that it bring a smile to their faces. The sentiment is from the So Sorry Clear Mount Stamp Set. The inside of the card is stamped “for the loss of your pet”.
The image was printed out on Very Vanilla Card Stock using My Digital Studio. It was then die cut using the Label Collections Framelits. I colored it using the Crumb Cake (for the body), So Saffron for the Halo and a little Pink Pirouette for the tongue and cheeks and Soft Sky Stampin’ Write Markers for the Wings.
I used the Envelope Liner Framelits to make the matching liner. Love, love this new tool!
I also added the “Rainbow Bridge” poem on a piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock. When my 1st and only dog (a chocolate lab named Binx) died about 12 years ago, I found this poem on the internet and it brought such comfort to my heart. If you have not heard of this poem, check it out here.
