Today's card is for Splitcoast Stampers Friday's LSC249. The challenge is to create a white Christmas card. I might have cheated a bit because it called for only white or clear embellishments and I used the gold elastic cord! Oh well…
Another of my favorite type of cards – quick, clean and simple!
I stamped the image using the Encore Gold and then used the heat tool to hasten the drying time.
Though you cannot see it, the center strip was embossed using the Stampin' Up! backgrounds 1.
Stampin' Up! has a new Textured Impressions Folder called Perfect Polka Dots in the new Occasions Mini Catalog coming out on 5 January. I've ordered it and can hardly wait to try it out. My shipment of the new items will be here on 9 December 2009 – WOOHOO!
The sentiment was stamped using the Gold Encore Ink. If you are impatient like I am, then you use the heat tool to help set the color. I punched it out using the Oval punch, then layered with the scalloped punch. I used dimensionals to give it some depth since the card is basically all white.

Don't forget about my "free" stamp set of the month club called the Internet Stamp Club. The free stamp set this month is "Charming" from page 32 of the Holiday Mini. Most people miss it because it's with the Simply Adorned charms and chains. It's a beautiful set. No minimum purchase – details are here….
