Hi Stampers
Before I go into today's card, I wanted to let you know that I am having problems (with a capital P) with my old video camera. It broke during the filming of the video on how to emboss only the corner using the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder. I have a Flip (unopened and still in the packaging) which I will need to learn how to use. I hear it's a very simple camera to operate so I should be delayed only a day or so.
Today's card fits both the Simple Sunday and Masculine Monday theme's on this week's blog. I used the My Digital Studio again – it is so addicting! I selected the Thoughts and Prayers Stamp Brush Set which comes installed with the My Digital Studio. This set is brimming with sentiments of love and concern, and is a must-have for conveying your feelings at those times in life when you need to reach out to a friend or close one.
I printed it out on Naturals Ivory Card Stock and then lightly sponged Baja Breeze Classic Ink on the top of the card and Pear Pizzazz on the bottom of the card using the masking method. I cut out a piece of the cardboard (that comes with the DSP packages) to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I then cut out a frame so that there was a 1/2" inch all around the cardboard.
A very quick and easy card to make.
