Saying Goodbye to Snow Front

By | April 5, 2021

It’s Monday and time for a masculine card. For today’s project, I’m using the soon to be retired Snow Front Stamp Set. This card is for a dear friend who lost his wife to COVID-19 a couple of months ago. He and my husband, David, belong to a group of older hikers who get together once a month to hike the Ozark Highlands Trail and overnight camping. The group gave each other nicknames (don’t know why) and Joe is known as Gray Owl and my husband is know as Two Bottles!

I’m also using the retired Plaid Tidings Designer for the background. I attached it to the base card which was Garden Green Cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I first stamped the mountains with Soft Suede Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Next I added the lake with Misty Moonlight, stamped off once. I then added the trees using Garden Green Ink. The Basic White Cardstock was then die cut with the Stitched Rectangles Dies and layered with Green Garden Cardstock and attached to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The greeting was computer generated and punched out with the retiring Classic Label Punch.

The following items used in making the above card are retiring so if you want to buy any of them, please don’t wait until it’s too late.
